Maraed Hope

Illustrator/Artist living in Ōtautahi, Aotearoa (New Zealand). I am inspired by ecology, animals, humans, and my own emotional world. I love adventures with friends, cycling, dancing, vegan cookies, and the rush of a new painting idea.

I’m currently exploring a hand-sketched style of illustration, I want to express the delightful, raw simplicity of pencil on paper. I’m interested in creative projects which sit within the intersections of art, community and connection to the environment.
